Is a P2 mask the same as an N95 mask?

It is a classification by the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH), a United States federal agency responsible for conducting research and making recommendations for the prevention of work-related injury and illness.
Australian/New Zealand Standard AS/NZS 1716:2012 classifies respiratory protective devices as P1, P2 and P3. The N95 mask is the closest equivalent to a P2 respirator.
