Original & Reproduction Items. Only One Available. This is a great WWII Medic’s belt rig which has been enhanced and made more complete with a reproduction set of suspenders and vial carrier. There is a medic’s armband, wire splint, and two bandages in one of the bags. The other bag has a vial carrier with six original medical vials, all labeled on the shaft with the full name of the medicine, and a shortened version on the cap for easy identification in the field.
The belt is marked U.S. The bandages are Carlisle and a 4 inch bandage compress, and the wire splint is made by Davis Emergency Equipment Co. The vials include Aspirin, Kaolin & Pectate, Cascara Sagrada, Phenobarbital, Sulfanilamide, and Penicillin. The carrier for the vials is reproduction. The armband has two bobby pins and is likely a reproduction as well.
This is a great belt rig that will fit very well on a medical troop mannequin, or in any WWII medic’s display. Ready for further research and display.
